After School HUB Program
The HUB program serves as a safe location to expose adolescents to a number of structured and positive recreational activities for youth with the overall goals of building feelings of confidence, goodwill, and camaraderie among it’s users.
Volunteers at the HUB assist and interact with youth on a number of levels including; homework assistance, video gaming, ping-pong, air hockey, laser tag, arts and crafts, basketball, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, cooking, bowling, roller skating, to name a few. Participants building relationships with staff and mentors is key to the programs successes.
There is no cost to participants
It is more than just learning skills:
- A Safe Place to hang out after school
- Help with Homework
- Meet New Friends
- Have opportunities to learn new things
- Develop Relationships with adults
Hours: Monday-Thursday 2-6PM Friday 12-6PM
